Summer Open Doors 2024

The Spanish Cultural Center opens its doors once again to share the current exhibitions on show at the Beaux-Arts mansion.

Enjoy the latest art installations, both inside and outside our walls. Discover the group exhibition SPAINfographics featuring thought-provoking designs by Spanish artists, and much more.

Indoors exhibits

  • SPAINfographics tells a visual story on the topic Spain in the United States through infographic designs.
  • Ramón y Cajal by Brais Rodríguez. As part of the sixth edition of Not Your Regular Wall, Spanish artist Brais Rodriguez imprinted the walls of the Spanish Cultural Center with his artistic proposal Ramón y Cajal in celebration of the 170th anniversary of the Spanish scientist’s birth.

Outdoors exhibits

  • DC.es: Outdoors showcases works by five Spanish artists on their perspectives of the world’s political capital on the outdoor fence of the Cultural Center.
  • Pride Month 2024: Color me Proud. We celebrate Pride Month with a banner that embraces diversity, and Spain’s commitment to LGBTQI+ rights.
  • Around Blooming, Around Reforesting by Doa Oa, a work that creates a deep and empathetic connection with flowers and nature, promoting the appreciation of their beauty, awareness of plant diversity, and the historical relationship between humans and plants through pictorial interventions and reforestation projects.
  • SPAINfographics. To individually showcase SPAINfographics’ infographic designs, each proposal will be displayed monthly in the garden of the Spanish Cultural Center.
  • La Mujer del Alfeizar by Carmen Segovia. Spanish illustrator Carmen Segovia explores the idea of returning to the outside world in this third intervention on the windows of the Spanish Cultural Center.
